Junk Journals originated by collecting junk mail and using those pieces to mak a journal.  These journals have evolved over the years into beautiful, one-of-a-kind notebooks and have quite an on-line following.

I discovered junk journaling a few years ago and I was hooked.  It’s a beautiful, creative process that has been another part of my healing journey.

The journals I create are full of beautiful papers, book pages, notepaper, and cards I’ve collected.  Thrift stores become the hunting ground for vintage pages, game cards and stationary.  I’ll admit I’ve used pieces of junk mail in making my journals.  But it just adds to the uniqueness of the journal seeing that a piece of junk mail can be turned into something pretty.

I create my Junk Journals for you to experience an interactive journey with your writing and memory keeping.  Every journal is unique so no two journals are alike.

Each journal is made with intention, inspiration and given a name.  I also include a special item or two that belonged to my daughter Kelsey, who passed away.  Including a part of her in each journal has allowed me to share Kelsey’s spirit and energy with you.  And for me, it’s been incredibly healing.
